90 Minute Relaxation Massage
Favorite Massage Time and Best Value
The 90 Minute Therapeutic Relaxation Massage is a blend of several massage modalities which include Swedish, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Cranial Sacral, Pressure Point, Lomi Lomi, Thai, Kinetic, Reflexology (hand and foot massage), scar therapy, Dolphin Neurostim, Himalayan Salt Stones and many other techniques designed to release stress and tension and promote relaxation. In addition, aromatherapy, hot towels, and hydrotherapy treatments may be included. We combine oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, rocking and percussion to help the body improve its circulation.
The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
60 Minute Relaxation Massage
Escape for an hour! A 60-minute massage offers the same modalities as a 90-minute massage, but just a half-hour shorter. Let us know your goals for the session and we will include techniques to enhance your massage time.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Pre-Natal or Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.
One hour ($50) and 90 minutes ($65) massage times are available.
Personalized Massage Training
Massage Skills for Non-Professionals
Frequently our clients ask us to teach them massage techniques. If you are interested in learning how to give a massage, we have several ideas to create a very personalized training session geared to what YOU want to learn. Bring a friend or family member of any age or health condition to be a receiver so that you can learn to be a giver. We will work with you to show you hands-on massage techniques, practice good body mechanics (so you can massage for more than 15 minutes without being exhausted), explore and invest in tools and products, learn some basic anatomy, share research, understand massage ethics, model etiquette, learn safe touch protocols and answer your questions. There is so much to learn from pregnancy to hospice massage care and everything in between.
We can work with you at our massage office or your place of choice. If you are creating a home spa, we may be able to offer some ideas to choose your products and tools well. Over the years we have discovered what tools work well and we love. We have also bought things we no longer use (and spent way too much money), so we can help give some insights for your home use.
Just give us a call and we will work out the details. If two of you would like to learn, then the best thing to do is schedule two 90 minute sessions. Teaching clients is one of our favorite things to do.
Daiwa Legacy Chair Massage
The Daiwa Legacy Chair offers an excellent alternative to receiving hands-on massage work. This treatment is complimentary to all of our massage clients.
